Project: MixAbilities Inaugural

Apr 13, 2021 | Past Projects

Thanks to the MixAbilities “Inaugural” Project, H’art will invite 10 community artists to complete our MixAbilities Inclusive Arts Training, including a practicum option, and explore our online best practices. We will further build our roster of community artists trained in our approach.

This has been a challenging time, and the COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound effect on all of us. People with developmental disabilities are turning to community programming – much of it offered online. Training a pool of community artists is an important step that will impact community connection and resilience during this challenging time. Community artists trained through this project will impact hundreds of people in our community. What a ripple of change!

Funded by the Anna & Edward C. Churchill Foundation and supporters like you!
