THE BOX at H’art Centre will be rocking through September and October with A Day Away: Rock the Chairs. If you are 55 or older, join us on Fridays to jam with musician Winston Vinh and guest artists. Bring or borrow an instrument. Get some tips. Learn the basics of reading music. No experience necessary. The focus is on fun, friendship, and active living through the arts.
A Day Away: Rock the Chairs will be the first of four six-week arts programs offered for free to seniors living in Kingston. Each program in the series will focus on a new artistic medium and be led by a different local artist or artist educators.
