You are welcome to join a new, free 13-week arts program in THE BOX called Getting to Know Father Sky to be led by a four-time Canadian and American Native Music Award nominee.
The program, open to adults, will introduce participants to traditional aboriginal symbols, learning techniques, stories, and spiritual family member each week. Participants will focus on the creation of a group artistic expression of song, drawings, dance, or story.
Local artist Eric Voice, who designed the program, will lead the weekly sessions every Monday until December 14th. Voice is an Algonquin artist who bridges rock music with an Aboriginal vision. His work has been featured on CBC Television’s MusicWorks, APTN and MuchMusic, and has performed at numerous festivals throughout Ontario.
