We are pleased to announce you can now order your copies of the Newton & Alice book. This book was a major undertaking and it took more than four months to complete. The writers and artists were engaged in a creative process that involved explorative questioning, journaling, free-association and brainstorming exercises.

At first, this new story with its vibrant watercolours appears to be a tale about loss. But it is truly about the artists’ understanding of the value of friendship and collaboration. Friends comfort us, inspire us, motivate us and work alongside us to help us become something greater than we could have become on our own.

It is the third installment in the popular Newton Series. Newton Rides the Bus was published in 2006 and distributed locally, nationally and internationally. Copies traveled as far as British Columbia, Nunavut, Africa, Serbia and Korea. Newton Finds a Home was published in 2007 and adapted into a musical a year later. Newton & Alice: The Musical will be staged at The Box, the Centre’s inclusive performing arts space.

The book will launch April 29-May 2 and costs $20. For a limited time, when you purchase a musical ticket, you can pre-order the book for the special price of $10 each. Contact the office at 613-545-1392 to pre-order your copy today.

We are excited to announce we are extending the special book launch pricing for the month of May!
