Rick Spencer

Board Member

Rick is a graduate of St. Lawrence College in Telecommunications. Rick began his 32-year career with Bell Canada in Kingston and eventually Ottawa where he held a number of positions before retiring as Associate Director.

Rick is a parent of a H’art Centre student. Over the years Rick has been a strong advocate for inclusive education in the public school system and in local dance and music programs. Rick was a member of the parent council at Lancaster Drive Public School to provide input around inclusion. More recently Rick has helped his daughter live independently in the community, assisting her with daily living tasks, obtaining funding and supports.

In his free time, Rick enjoys hiking, travel, and photography.
