Kathi Toth Switzer

Orff Music

Kathi Toth-Switzer is a retired Special Education teacher and a musician. For over 30 years she taught students with developmental disabilities of all ages, from Kindergarten to adulthood. As an educator, Kathi has specialist qualifications in Special Education, Reading Instruction and Elementary Music. She is a certified Orff Music Specialist trained by the Royal Conservatory of Music. As a violinist, Kathi played with the Kingston Symphony and many ensembles. Kathi has been involved with H’art Centre for over twenty years. She co-wrote two of their musical productions and assisted with others. She taught Orff music classes at H’art and was a member of their Board of Directors.

H’art Centre is located below Good Life Fitness. The building’s main entrance is off of Barrack Street. Wheelchair access and audience access to THE BOX inclusive performing arts space is available through the entrance on Wellington Street.
