Kathryn MacKay

Theatre

Kathryn is a Kingston-based director and administrator. She is a co-founder of the Thousand Islands Playhouse where she served as Associate Artistic Director and the former Artistic Director of Theatre Kingston. Favourite directing credits there include: The Clockmaker, The Drowning Girls, The Russian Play/Essay, The Girl in the Goldfish Bowl, The Drowsy Chaperone, Trying and Half Life. Other directing credits include: Hothouse, How I learned to Drive, Perfect Pie, The Passion, Shape of a Girl, Vigil (Theatre Kingston), Women Who Shout at the Stars (Summerworks), She currently serves as the Managing Director of PeerLess Productions, a company dedicated to providing professional opportunities for mixed ability theatre artists. PeerLess’ productions include Rare, Down Syndrome By the Dozen, and We’re All in Jeopardy (coming June 2022).

H’art Centre is located below Good Life Fitness. The building’s main entrance is off of Barrack Street. Wheelchair access and audience access to THE BOX inclusive performing arts space is available through the entrance on Wellington Street.
