Three field placements received the Brook Doseger Fund Award in December 2022: Jaimelee Earl (Behavioural Psychology), Cristina Salamone (Child & Youth Worker), and Kirk Jones (Social Service Worker). These post-secondary students exemplify the philosophy, aims, and joys of H’art Centre in its work through accessible arts.
Since 2018, this annual award has acknowledged the importance of the student placement program at H’art Centre and the training of future facilitators of accessible arts for people with disabilities. With the assistance of the Community Foundation for Kingston and Area, this fund was set up by two former board members, Greg & Catherine Bell. Congratulations Jaimelee, Cristina, and Kirk!
