Melissa Addison Webster

Able Artists 2011

Melissa Addison–Webster has studied Expressive Art Therapy at the post-degree level through the Haliburton School of the Arts, and has an Honours Bachelor Degree in History (Trent) and an Honours Degree in Social Work (Lakehead). She has performed at the Eight–to-Eight and presented at From the Floor (Peterborough), and the fFIDA International Dance Festival (Toronto). Melissa has workshopped with Picasso PRO, and was a founding member of GIG at the Theatre Centre (Toronto). She recently completed a digital story entitled “There is a purpose”, and is presently working on an integrated dance piece with dancers who are Deaf, hearing, sighted, blind, with and without disabilities.

H’art Centre is located below Good Life Fitness. The building’s main entrance is off of Barrack Street. Wheelchair access and audience access to THE BOX inclusive performing arts space is available through the entrance on Wellington Street.
